Changelog
What’s new.
Every version of Sift, newest first. Updates are one click, and included while you’re subscribed.
In short: The latest version of Sift Clips is 1.0.16 for Mac and Windows. Sift tells you when an update is ready and installs it in one click.
Sift 1.0.16.
- Lightroom Classic: search your photos from inside Lightroom with the new plugin, or use Send to Lightroom from Sift.
- People are far more accurate, with fewer strangers mixed together.
- Fixing people is easier: faces sort into piles that look alike, you can say who a face is, and merges have Undo.
- Big searches are about 2.5 times faster, and very broad ones no longer fail on large libraries.
- Library packages: hand your search data to someone else as a file, with no footage inside.
- A Getting ready notice while Sift loads, and a warning before you add a mostly cloud-only folder.
- Photo keys in the viewer: arrows move, P adds to Selects.
Sift 1.0.15.
- Photos: search JPEG, HEIC, TIFF and camera RAW photos on your drives by what’s in them and who’s in them.
- Find duplicates: exact copies and look-alikes, with one of each always kept.
- Photo links people can view and download from. Video and photos now share one allowance.
- Clearer first run, with Skip for now.
- Help? Message us, from inside Sift.
- Fixed: opening Sift could download cloud-only files. They’re now skipped unless you turn on Read cloud-only files.
